Touching the Sound: The improbable journey of Nobuyuki Tsujii

Nobuyuki Tsujii

"Touching the Sound" traces Nobuyuki's life long struggle to become a world-class pianist from his birth, his young years as a student, on a recent American tour, and to the earthquake and tsunami devastated areas of Japan filmed May 2013, ending at his debut at the Proms, in London. This is director Peter Rosen's third film about "Nobu", following his documentary about Nobu's Van Cliburn Competition victory in 2009, "A Surprise in Texas", and his Carnegie Hall debut in 2011, "Nobuyuki Tsujii Live at Carnegie Hall".
