EuroArts Music is the worldwide leading independent producer of audiovisual classical music programmes for TV and DVD. The Leipzig based production department has built a reputation for distinguished productions. The highest artistic standard is the key element on which the production team at EuroArts Music, under the direction of Paul Smaczny, continues to build a distinct editorial profile. The production department manages all creative and technical steps from development to production and postproduction up to the delivery of live or taped music events as well as documentaries. Multicamera music events have been produced in countries all over the world – among them China, Japan, Israel, Palestine, Turkey and Argentina. The production department produces between 20 to 30 productions a year. Since 1990 EuroArts Music has cooperated with the Berliner Philharmoniker on prestigious regular concert events such as the annual Europa Konzert series, the famous open-air concerts at the Berlin Waldbühne and the annual New Year's Eve Concerts. It also maintains close relationships with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden and the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. EuroArts Music has enduring relationships with conductors Daniel Barenboim, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, Simon Rattle and Pierre Boulez as well as with artists such as Martha Argerich, Placido Domingo, Mauricio Pollini, Bobby McFerrin and Nigel Kennedy to name just a few.
