Yehudi Menuhin

Featuring great performances of Yehudi and Hephzibah Menuhin this DVD is dedicated not only to one of the most outstanding violinist of the 20th Century, Yehudi Menuhin, but also to his congenial partner on the piano, his sister Hephzibah. The complete mutual understanding that existed between Yehudi and Hephzibah is evident in the manner in which the two siblings communicated. Two further recordings are presented: the 1967 recording of Mozart’s Violin Concerto K 216 and Bartók’s Contrasts, played by Menuhin, the clarinetist Thea King and his son Jeremy on the piano.
