EuroArts drops first 12" LP titled "Zuzana - Music is Life (LP &DVD)"

Zuzana - Music is Life (LP & DVD)

For the first time in its company history, EuroArts drops a 12” LP with gatefold packaging.

In honor of world-famous harpsichordist Zuzana Růžičková’s birthday on January 14, EuroArts releases a personal selection by Zuzana Růžičková herself of four digitally remastered J. S. Bach pieces on a 12” LP.

The Washington Post describes her as a “musical pioneer, a grande dame of her country’s music scene” – fitting descriptions seeing as she was the first harpsichordist to record Bach’s complete work for keyboard. Furthermore, Zuzana Růžičková’s entire life story reads like the script for a movie, hence it seems only appropriate we included the thrilling new documentary “Zuzana: Music is Life” with the LP. “Zuzana: Music is Life” tells her remarkable story of how she became a world-famous harpsichordist and interpreter of Bach under the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia after surviving three concentration camps during her teenage years. Bonus features include additional interviews and performances with Mahan Esfahani and Zuzana Růžičková among others, as well as with Robert Neufeld on the making of the film music.

“Zuzana – Music is Life (LP & DVD)” is released on 12.01.2018
