Bruno Monsaingeon has devoted himself to music, playing the violin, writing books, and making films.

Among these films his profiles of legendary performers, such as Yehudi Menuhin, Glenn Gould, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, David Oïstrakh, Michael Tilson-Thomas, Murray Perahia, Deszö Ranki, Zoltan Kocsis, Viktoria Postnikova, Julia Varady, Nadia Boulanger, the Alban Berg Quartet, Sviatoslav Richter, Grigori Sokolov, Guennadi Roshdestvensky, and more recently Valeriy Sokolov, David Fray, and Piotr Anderszewski have gained worldwide acclaim.
