Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. The extraordinary list of artists who have played there is drawn from across the musical spectrum and from around the world. In cooperation with Mercury Studios, this DVD collection allows an unseen musical journey through the history of the festival. The lineup reflects the broad range of music performed in Montreux and the special atmosphere of the festival. It is a timeless and unprecedented compilation. Including extensive bonus material such as a 30 min interview of Carlos Santa on Miles Davis after his passing in 1991 (30th death anniversary in September 2021).
