Hollywood Gala – Award Night at the Symphony

The DR Symphony Orchestra and the DR Concert Choir take you on a musical journey through the greatest Oscar films, from true classics like Casablanca to monumental films such as The Godfather and iconic blockbusters like Forrest Gump – blockbusters with music that deserve their very own place in film history. And the hosts Maria Månson and Caspar Phillipson, together with the evening's soloists, throw extra star sprinkles over the famous soundtracks, which for almost a century have made us shudder, melt and cry in the dark of the cinema.
