Young Euro Classic 2024: Eurasian Student Symphony Orchestra

The Eurasian Student Symphony Orchestra of the Kazakh National University of the Arts returns to Young Euro Classic, following their successful debut in 2016, with a programme that combines Kazakh musical traditions and Central European Romanticism. Led by Yerbolat Akhmedyarov, the concert features pianist Karina Izmailova and a collaboration with the SHABYT Dombra Ensemble. The programme includes Makhambet by Kazakh composer Nurghissa Tilendiyev, blending the dombra’s distinctive sound with orchestral textures. Schumann’s Piano Concerto and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 round out the evening, showcasing the orchestra’s versatility and expressive range.
