Joining the Orchestra for the 129th season opening concerts is a pianist who is truly among today’s most sought-after artists: Daniil Trifonov, who is this season’s Artist-in-Residence performs Dvořák’s Piano Concerto for the first time in Prague. He will later join the orchestra on tour as part of Czech Week at New York’s Carnegie Hall in December marking the culmination of the Year of Czech Music 2024. The second part of the evening  features an emblematic work of the Romantic era: Hector Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique.
