The Czech Philharmonic Orchestra has been commemorating the Velvet Revolution since 2020, celebrating democracy, freedom and peace every year on November 17th. In the Velvet Revolution concert 2024, Prague's Rudolfinum welcomes two talented young artists: Czech violinist Josef Špaček and French violist Antoine Tamestit. Under the direction of Petr Popelka, they present an all-Czech programme with works by Bedřich Smetana, Josef Suk, Bohuslav Martinů and Leoš Janáček.
