Verbier Festival 2024: VFCO, Gabor Takacs-Nagy, Alexandra Dovgan

At the 2024 Verbier Festival conductor Gábor Tacáks-Nagy returns to lead the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra framing the concert with two symphonies: Haydn’s Symphony No. 1 and Brahm’s Symphony No. 1. In between Tacáks-Nagy and the VFCO welcome one of the piano world’s brightest young stars: Alexandra Dovgan. With spontaneous depth and consciousness, along with a sound of incredible beauty and precision, Dovgan performs Grieg’s Concerto, Op.16.
