Barbara Hannigan opens the 2025 Verbier Festival at the helm of the Verbier Festival Orchestra with a programme shaped by rhythm, movement and theatrical flair. The evening ranges from the saltarello-infused brilliance of Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture to the poised classicism of Haydn’s Symphony No. 104, alongside 20th-century dance music by Copland and Rodgers.
