The Turandot Project

In September 1998, Puccini's opera Turandot was staged at the fabled Forbidden City of Beijing. The film "The Turandot Project" documents the story of this historic production from its inception and premiere in Italy, from the costume workshop of the Peking Opera in China, to rehearsals with cast, chorus and orchestra and finally to its highly anticipated staging in Beijing.
