Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Classical Music

Aleksey Igudesman Richard Hyung-ki Joo

A film all about a delighting enlightenment of classical music. Excellently proving comedic qualities, Aleksey Igudesman and Hyung-ki Joo, violin and piano virtuosos, challenge renowned contemporary classical music stars: doing karate with Lang Lang, violin bow throwing competition with Renaud Capuçon, a shameless interview with Hilary Hahn, and a jam session of “I Will Survive” with Mischa Maisky, Janine Jansen, and Julian Rachlin. Moreover, they do a sketch with Sir Roger Moore and meet up great pop musicians like Kim Wilde, the band Tears For Fears, Midge Ure (Ultravox), and Dennis DeYoung (Styx) backstage. “Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Classical Music” is a film about great music, an all-star cast, and first-rate comedy.
