Gidon Kremer & Kremerata Baltica

The Kremerata Baltica is an ensemble of young musicians, founded by violinist Gidon Kremer. In this live concert recording, made at the Philharmonie during the 1998 Munich Klaviersommer, Kremer is both leader and a soloist. The programme includes Pärt's Trisagion for string orchestra; Kancheli's V&V for violin and orchestra; Schnittke's Concerto For Three; Rota's Concerto per archi; Astor Piazzolla: Tango Ballet; Schubert/Liszt/Oistrach: Valse Caprice
