Bach: Johannes-Passion - Enoch zu Guttenberg

For this specially staged recording of the St John Passion, Enoch zu Guttenberg and the acclaimed Neubeuern Choral Society are joined by the Bach-Collegium and soloists Pamela Coburn (soprano), Natalie Stutzman (mezzo-soprano), Claes-Hakon Ahnsjö (tenor), Robert Swensen (tenor), Tobias Pfülb, Thomas Quasthoff (bass) and Andreas Scheibner (bass). The setting is the magnificent baroque church at Gösseweinstein in Bavaria.
