Lionel Hampton And His Golden Men Of Jazz

Lionel Hampton is one of the grand old men of jazz. In this concert, he plays with a line-up of musicians who, like him, helped to make the history of jazz: Junior Mance (piano), Benny Golson (tenor saxophone), Al Grey (trombone), Jimmy Woody (bass), Clark Terry (trumpet), 'Sweets' Edison (trumpet) and Panama Francis (drums). Their foot-stomping swing-era music sets the audience alight.
