The heroines of the composer Giacomo Puccini, were almost always doomed to a tragic fate. Here they are brought to the stage accompanied by the most beautiful arias. This choreography is a tribute to the opera, and particularly to the illustrious departed composer. Referring to those familiar tunes, symphonic works illustrate the skill of the exceptional orchestration that Puccini built, with manfold harmonic innovations. Through this ballet for eleven dancers, Julien Lestel has imagined a new choreography around the great heroines from the most famous Puccini operas: Tosca, Manon Lescaut, Madame Butterfly and La Bohème.
