Barenboim plays Brahms: Piano Concerto No. 1

The Münchner Philharmoniker and Sergiu Celibidache share an impressive legacy. Celibidache has been principal conductor of the orchestra for a total of 17 years since 1979, a time in which the orchestra gained great international reputation and became renowned worldwide. In these recordings, acclaimed pianist Daniel Barenboim, one of the most prolific and high-profile artists performing on international stages, performs Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1 together with Celibidache and the Münchner Philharmoniker.
