Gilles Apap : Mozart's 3rd Concerto

Gilles Apap violin
Sinfonia Varsovia
Gilles Apap

This documentary is based on the very personal interpretation of Mozart's 3rd Concerto by Gilles Apap. Apap integrates into the final cadenza variations on popular themes from jazz, Blues, country, Irish, gypsy and Indian music - not only with his violin, but also with whistles, songs, and even the Sinfonia Varsovia imitating gypsy ensembles - all inspired by the themes of Mozart. As an introduction, Gilles Apap explains how he invented this cadenza and at the end of the concert play an Irish gig as an encore.
