Structured as a road-movie from Warsaw to Budapest in a special train car with the famous Polish-hungarian pianist Piotr Anderszewski, this new film by Bruno Monsaingeon captures the most important events of the pianist`s current activities: A new CD recording, a master class, excerpts of recitals in Warsaw, Budapest, Paris, Tokyo. Following this, we will reach the deeper exploration – the major question Anderszewski puts to himself and which is linked to what a musician`s role ideally holds for him. This theme will recur as a leitmotiv at regular intervals throughout the film. Production schedule: • CD recording of Beethoven`s 1st Concerto with The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen (Nov. 07) • Recital in Paris/ Théatre des Champs-Elysées (Dec. 07) • Documentary shooting of the road-movie in train from Warsaw to Budapest, including documentary shooting of excerpts of recitals, one at the Warsaw Philharmony hall on the 19th of Dec., one in Budapest on the 21rst of Dec., one in Poznan (Poland) on the 29th Dec. 07. Also including a mini-recital in Szymanowski`s house in Zakopane, a nice mountain village in the south of Poland. • April 2008: 3 days conversations with Piotr, filmed in his apartement in Portugal • a few minutes of archive footage (recital Tokyo in 05, Mozart sonatas filmed in Warsaw in 04, Piotr`s performance of Diabelli Variations by Beethoven during Leeds piano competition in 1990
