"A Swan Lake" wins SFDFF

A Swan Lake

Congratulations to our colleagues at 3 minutes West whose production „A Swan Lake“ won Best Live Performance Capture at this year’s San Francisco Dance Film Festival!

“A Swan Lake” is choreographed by Alexander Ekman whose work is internationally acclaimed for its inventiveness, musicality and humor. In his new full-length work created for the Norwegian National Ballet, the dancers are joined on stage by actors, a soprano, musicians and 1,000 rubber ducks. With a score by Swedish composer Mikael Karlsson and costumes by Danish fashion designer Henrik Vibskov, "A Swan Lake" takes a fresh and witty look at Tchaikovsky‘s ballet of all ballets.

Apart from its most recent win at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival – an international platform for the presentation and development of dance-based films – “A Swan Lake” was also awarded with the Dancescreen Award 2016 for Best Live-Performance Relay & Camera Re-Work.

This award winning dance production is available for distribution through EuroArts Music. Contact our sales managers for further information on this acclaimed program.
