By the beginning of the 1990’s, facing the indifference for the AIDS epidemic, Act Up activists invent a spectacular and provocative style of action, widely imitated since then. This documentary shows how 120 BPM, multi-primed movie in 2017, intertwines historical reality, romance and personal memories of the director. For Robin Campillo Act Up, which he was part of, was a foundress experience, which made him a filmmaker.
