My War Years

Award winning director Larry Weinstein brings to the screen the biography of composer Arnold Schönberg against the backdrop of early 20th century Vienna, where he composed his first atonal works, through to the war years of the World War, to the discovery of his Twelve-Tone method in the early 1920s. With excerpts from live performances of Schoenberg's works such as Verklärte Nacht, the Gurre-Lieder, the Second String Quartet and others.
