Yosuke Yamashita & Hozan Yamamoto in Concert

Two of the leading Japanese musicians in the field of jazz and free music appear in this live recording. Pianist Yosuke Yamashita plays Thelonius Monk, and Hozan Yamamoto, virtuoso of the flute and the shakuhachi, performs traditional Japanese music and free music with jazz links. The elements of traditional Japanese music and modern jazz are both heard in duets.
