Nielsen, Nielsen, Nielsen! Symphony No.3

The often-played prelude to act II from Carl Nielsen’s opera Saul & David initiates this concert followed by the charming and moody flute concerto brilliant performed by Danish flutist Ulla Miilmann. The Sinfonia Espansiva is exploding with symphonic power and energy from the very beginning and is a tribute to human life on earth.
