Verbier 2016: András Schiff

Hungarian pianist András Schiff, one of the titans in the contemporary piano scene, returns as both soloist and conductor to Verbier, performing music by Bach, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. The programme culminates in Beethoven’s masterpiece, Beethoven’s Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major, often known as the Emperor Concerto, directed by András Schiff himself from the piano.
